Gertrude Virginia Glessner, 93, of Belmont, formerly of Cadiz, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born March 2, 1920 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late John and Mary Campbell Neville. She was a homemaker and a 7th Day Adventist.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband William Joseph Glessner; two sons: Edward and Richard; a daughter, Patricia; and seven brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Gertrude asked for donations to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Road West, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
