James H. Carson, 86, of Hopedale, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center, West in Steubenville. He was born April 24, 1927 in Hopedale, Ohio, a son of the late Edwin S. and Bertha Merrimen Carson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Dora Mae Manbeck Carson in 2006 and by a sister, Martha Jane O’Connell.
Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale.
