Jerome L. Thompson, age 61, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away on January 11, 2014. He was born on June 19, 1952 in Dennison, Ohio.
Calling hours will occur at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel on Sunday, January 19, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a FOP service at 1:45 p.m. A memorial service will occur on Monday, January 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4940 W. Tuscarawas St. Canton, Ohio 44708 followed by a Christian burial at approximately 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, located in Jewett, Rumley Township, Ohio, followed by a luncheon at the New Rumley United Methodist Church.
