June Dalrymple Milliken, 83, of Bowerston, passed away on June 9, 2014, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover, following a brief illness. Born June 2, 1931 in the village of Little York, Ohio, June was a daughter of the late William Paul and Florence (Meredith) Dalrymple. She moved to the Bowerston area with her family in early childhood. June graduated from Bowerston High School in 1950 as Class Valedictorian. She worked in the office of the Nolan Company in Bowerston for 10 years and served as treasurer of the Conotton Valley School District.
Funeral services for June, officiated by Pastor Tom Dawson, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at Trinity United Methodist Church at Bowerston. Interment will follow in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bowerston Public Library, Bowerston Volunteer Fire Department, and Trinity United Methodist Church.
