Willard C. Liggett, 88, of Dennison, passed away on July 21, 2014 at his home after a period of declining health. Born July 4, 1926 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Robert Roy and Iva Hazel (Cunard) Liggett.
Willard was a graduate of Dennison High School in 1944 who devoted his life to his family and working on their farm. He was also the owner of Reed Feed Country Store and a sales representative for Mullet Coal. He enjoyed working on the farm and with his animals, and, most of all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was a longtime member and former trustee of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and a member of the Prosperity Grange, as well as serving as a past Union Township Trustee.
