Lois A. Link, 77, of Uhrichsville, was called home to Heaven on Saturday, Oct. 18, after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Born Aug. 12, 1937 in Uhrichsville, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Grayce Irene (Watson) Williams. On Feb. 23, 1999, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Eugene Link, to whom she was wed on Oct. 2, 1954. She is also preceded in death by her daughters, Christina Hamilton and Beth Moreland; and brothers, Roy, John Jr., and Don Williams.
Lois was a 1955 graduate of Uhrichsville High School and a longtime member of Feed Spring Church near Uhrichsville. Throughout her life, she was devoted to caring for her family and home, especially enjoying sewing for them, as well as decorative painting.
She is survived by her son, Doug (Kim) Link of Uhrichsville; grandchildren: Nathan (Amy) Hamilton, Randy (Alexis) Moreland, Joshua (Jessica) Link, Adam Hamilton, Heather (Kevin) Baylor and Becky “Clyde” (Chris) Moreland; great-grandchildren: LaKozza, Christina, Cody, Eleanor, Austin, Alexis, Briyanna, Christopher, Dylan, Ellie, Gabby, Libby, Maddy, Abbie, Lillie, Deanna, and Wesley; and great-great-grandchildren: Christian, Noah, Danielle, and Michael; many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family, including her in-laws.
Services for Lois, officiated by Pastor Milo Baker, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in the Link Family Cemetery near Uhrichsville. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
