John J. Hanlon, 84 of Deersville, died Thursday, Oct. 30, at Trinity Twin City Hospital in Dennison, Ohio.
He was born April 14, 1930 in Nottingham Township, Harrison County, Ohio a son of the late William and Martha Nichols Hanlon. He spent his life as a owner/operator truck driver until his retirement for health issues in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Charles “Chuck” Hanlon; and a brother, David Kent. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Price Hanlon; 2 daughters: Pam (Kevin) Wallace of Deersville and Debbie (Frank) Hedtke of Deersville; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home Cadiz, Ohio.
