obit-Henry-Joseph-Rensi-picHenry Joseph Rensi, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his family. Henry was born June 16, 1924 in Parlett, Ohio to the late Samuel and Adelaide Dalpiaz Rensi. A member of the Greatest Generation, he was a WWII veteran, a proud member of the VFW, Masons, American Legion, lifetime member of the N.R.A, and the Hopedale United Methodist Church.

Henry will be forever remembered by his family for the quick wit, love of John Wayne and Ronald Reagan and an absolute dedication to his beloved late wife of 65 years, Jean (Wheeler) Rensi.

He is survived by a son, Mark (Cathy) Rensi of Port Townsend, Washington, a daughter, Susan (Dr. Richard) Bestic of Canfield, also five granddaughters, two grandsons and nine great-grandchildren. Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his three brothers; Daniel, Raymond and Ernest Rensi and three sisters; Laura Visintainer, Adelaide Rensi and Irene Patton.
