Delmas Lee Davis (Junior), 53, of Cadiz, died Friday at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 13, 1961 in Hawthorne, CA, a son of Delmas Davis of Cadiz and Arlene Marsh Davis Lamp of Utah. Del was an owner and operator of 4D’s Trucking and a member of the Cadiz Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Lynn Davis.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Dawn Boyer Davis; two daughters, Danika P. Davis of the home and Dayna M. (Matthew) Davenport of Hermitage, Pa.; a grandson, Peyton Elijah Davenport; step-mother Nancy Davis of Cadiz; a brother, Shawn Davis; four sisters, Suzanne Davis of Phoenix, Bonnie (Mike) Gray of Tucson, Christine (Sam) Slutz of Cadiz and Michelle (Ira) Anthony of Dennison.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, SR 9, North, Cadiz, Ohio, with Rudy Puskarich officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
