Donnie Grim, Jr., 64, of Cadiz, died Thursday, Jan. 1, at Valley Hospice Care Center, North in Steubenville. He was born March 28, 1950 in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late Donald E. Grim, Sr. and Renee Alice Dulkoski Grim. Donnie was a former employee of Y&O Coal Company and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam era.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Harris Grim; two sons, Gary Lee Grim (Tammy Wilson) of Piney Fork and Cody Phillip Grim (Lori) of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Rebecca Grim (Tom Perry) of Sunset Heights, Melissa Blake of Hopedale and Karla Jo Devernoe of Cadiz; sixteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Roseanna Agin (Larry) of Knoxville, OH, Karen Bryan (Jack) of Cadiz, Ronnie Dean Grim (Pinkie) of Jewett, Douglas Howard Grim (Cindy) of Cadiz, Betsey Bulson (Bob) of Michigan, Andy Phillip Grim of Adena and David Luke Grim of Hopedale.
Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Paul Giffen officiating. Burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery in Deersville.
