Everett Hall, 78, formerly of Jewett, Ohio died Friday Jan. 9, in Coshocton, Ohio after a long illness. He was born in Jewett on March 1, 1936 the son of the late Lauress and Dorothy Norquest Hall. Everett was also preceded in death by his wife Myrna Rogers Hall on Sept., 1981, and an infant brother Walter Hall.
He was a 1954 graduate of Jewett High School and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.
Everett was a member of United Steel Workers of America, Bethel United Methodist Church, and a farmer for over 40 years. He was also an avid Steelers fan.
He is survived by three sons: Kenneth Hall and friend Dan Thomas of West Lafayette, Ohio, Thomas (Patricia) Hall of Harlem Springs, Ohio; Gary (Bobbi) Hall of Jewett;
four granddaughters, and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Blackburn Funeral Home at 416 East Main Street in Jewett on Sunday Jan. 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with services there on Monday Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. Pastor Rodney Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
