Mary Lou Ullman, beloved wife, sister and aunt, of Mason, Ohio, formerly of Columbus,
Ohio, passed away on Jan. 26. Mary Lou was born on April 2, 1939 in Piney
Fork, Ohio, to the late Stephen and Victoria (Oltion) Baher. After years of service,
Mary Lou retired from the State of Ohio as a Project Manager. An avid animal lover she enjoyed feeding the birds and other critters at her home, as well as taking care of her two cats Jasmine (Jazzy) and Cody. Mary Lou was a fervent supporter of the
OSU Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New England Patriots, and was able to attended several games over her lifetime. Active in her community and with her family, she enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and relatives, a longtime member of the Red Hats in Florida. Mary Lou was quite talented and enjoyed crafting including handmade jewelry, homemade cards, baskets, corking and many more. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 20 years, Gale Ullman; step-daughter, Cherie (Ron) Schlatter; brother, John (Carol) Baher; nieces, Jennifer (Kyle) Griffiths and family, Julie (Mickey) Patterson and family; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Banks and Judy Thompson and their families. Final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Mary Lou’s memory to the ASPCA.
