Raymond R. Hildreth, 81, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Feb. 16. He was born March 2, 1933 in Cadiz, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Hildreth Sr., Ella Naomi Floyd; stepmother, Helen Dickerson; siblings, Dola Currie, Dorothy Herrick, Thelma Carter Mecham, Kenneth Hildreth and Dwain Smith.
Raymond served in the Korean War as a U.S. Navy Radioman. He graduated from The Ohio State University and retired from The Akron Public Schools.
He served at St. John’s Episcopal Church as the Sexton. He was a Little League Baseball coach with B&K Rootbeer. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
Surviving are his children, Jeff Hildreth, Kimberly Hildreth (Swav), Kasey Hildreth and Kristen Hildreth (Jon); siblings Tulsa Snyder, Roy Hildreth, Jr. and Charles Smith; and grandchildren, Bobby, Mitch, Jacob, Gia, Brenna, Keely, and Mandy.
