David B. Wallace of Springfield, Mo. died on June 23.

He was born in Tippecanoe, Ohio, to the late David B. Wallace and Gladys Wallace.

David was well known in Tippecanoe as the oldest of the, “Wallace Boys.”  His quiet and diligent soul was well formed as an evolving youth in the 40s and 50s  “Tipp” environment.

He graduated from Freeport High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. David then continued his employment with Republic Steel Corp in Canton, Ohio, as a technician in the Metallurgical Lab Dept. He ended his employment career in 1994.

He was preceded in death by, Sarah, his wife of 24 years.

David spent the last few years with his son Jeff Wallace. He will be returned to his roots in Oakdale, Pa., to be placed beside his beloved soul mate and wife Sarah.

David is survived by his Brother, Don of Hot Springs, Ark., two sons and one daughter, four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
