Terry HodkinsonTerry Lee Hodkinson, age 56, of 33920 Old Piedmont Road, Flushing died unexpectedly at 10:52 a.m. Monday, July 13, in Trinity West Hospital, Jefferson County, Steubenville, Ohio following surgery.

Born December 19, 1958 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of Mary Irene Milburn Hodkinson of Flushing and the late Junior Arthur Hodkinson who died Dec. 9, 2007.

Terry graduated in 1978 from Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus. He did some post-high school training at Ohio State University in Columbus. He worked at Nationwide Insurance, Columbus for 10 years. He became employed in 1992 at the Freeport Press in the maintenance department and until a medical disability in 2012 prevented him from working.

He was raised on the family farm and enjoyed working on the farm. His passion was keeping the lawn looking like a golf course. Terry loved his family and especially spending time with his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers: Tom (Linnah) Hodkinson of Tippecanoe and Mike (Trish Jones) Hodkinson of New Philadelphia; a sister-in-law, Becky (Doug) Koscoe of Houston, Texas; ten nieces and nephews: Kevin (Christina), Dawn (Eric), Jason (Jess), Derick (Megan), Heather (Don), Ashley, Daphne, Julia (Vic), Ben and Ellie; eighteen great-nieces and nephews: Aubree, Waylon, Cameron, Logan, Cody, Breauhnna, Dillon, Cassie, Hailey, Landon, Tyson, Caiden, Jeff, James, Montana, Autumn, Evan and Tammi; and special cousins: Tim and Aaron Willison.

In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by two brothers: Kevin Jay Hodkinson in 1961 and Frank Arthur Hodkinson in 1985; a sister, Pamela Sue Hodkinson in 2012; and grandparents Frank and Mildred Milburn and Arthur and Grace Hodkinson.

Visitation and services were held in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport, with Rev. Al Hoder officiating. Burial followed in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport.
