Bob Oklok, 80, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, at his home.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois on Jan. 25, 1935, the son of the late Spiro Oklok and Mildred Licina Oklok Blagovich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Sam Blagovich, brother Mike Oklok, three sisters Lucille Popovich, Elizabeth Rowland and Geri Hare. Bob began his career as an adjustor for Underwriters Adjusting Company and a field representative for Buckeye Union Insurance Company before becoming a partner in Mattey-Oklok Insurance Agency, later known as Oklok-Criss & Associates.  Bob was a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church, Unionport Masonic Lodge #333, Steubenville Scottish Rite and Steubenville Country Club.  He served on both the Ohio Valley Hospital & Trinity Health Systems Hospital Boards.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Carol A. Patton Oklok; daughters Lori (Mike) Yashko of Naples, Fla., Lisa (Terry) Lanham of Powell, Ohio, Lynette (Jim) Cavanaugh of Andover, Mass; five grandchildren Alexis, Larissa, Nicholas, Evan and Peyton; brothers Dr. George (Helen) Oklok of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Sam Blagovich of Hopedale; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends were received at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville with services held at Starkdale Presbyterian Church. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, Ohio.
