Eva Lee Liggett, 89, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, Jan. 13,  at Harrison Community Hospital. She was born May 10, 1926 in Preston County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Willis and Lesta Butcher Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ross Liggett; a son, Terry Liggett; a sister, Alma Howes; a brother, Woodrow Butcher; and a grandson, Rusty Liggett. Surviving are a son, Gene (Mary) Liggett of Hopedale; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Glenna (Ross) Wells and Mary Ellen (Paul) Cooper, all of Cadiz; a brother, Eugene (Doris) Davis of Flushing; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Rev. David Quillen will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery.
