Regina J. Cunningham, 87 of Kenwood, died Friday, Feb. 05, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 21, 1928 in Florence, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Bowen Yeater.
Mrs. Cunningham was a homemaker and attended the First Church of God in Cadiz. She served in the WACs during WW II, was an avid gardener and loved mowing her lawn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Cunningham, Sr. in 2005; 3 brothers, Henry, Joseph and Robert Yeater; and 4 sisters, Euella Vinka, Leah Briggs, Ruth Davia and Edna Yarian.
Surviving are a son James R. (Robin) Cunningham, Jr. of Kenwood; three daughters, Jacqueline (Dennis) Roth of Unionvale, Toni Lynn (Kenneth) Ray of Hundred, W.Va., and Margetta (Timothy) Kenny of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Orville (Virginia) Cunningham of Hopedale; and two sisters-in-law, Thelma Harris of Dunglen and Linda Sowers of Kenwood.
Friends may call Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Craig Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
