Glennadine Toole-Greenwalt, 78, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, March 25, at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville. Born Sept. 29, 1937 in Sherrodsville, she was a daughter of the late Marion Dewey and Laura Opal (Hardy) Baumgardner.
On Oct. 27, 1954, Glennadine married Joseph Edward Toole with whom she enjoyed 17 years of marriage until his passing on Dec. 3, 1971. They are survived by a daughter, Gloria Renicker; sons, Richard Lee, Jay, Jerry (Geraldine), and Darrel Toole; grandchildren, Billy, Heaven, Matt, Christina, Billy, Jeremy, and Darnise; and great-grandchildren, Josh, Kyle, Macy, Matthew, Caden, Brenton, Dominick, and Blake. Glennadine is also survived by a brother, Gene (Lillian) Baumgardner; sisters, Magraetha Shearer and Dora Lippencott; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and first husanbd, Glennadine was also preceded in death by her second husband, Earl Dean Greenwalt who died on Sept. 21, 1999; brothers, Earl, William “Joe”, and John Baumgardner; and sister, Murlene Fair.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved playing bingo, skip-bo, and euchre in her spare time. She was Protestant by faith.
Services, officiated by Rev. Steven DeLong, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Freeport’s Greenmont Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
