Raymond Delloma, 76, of Jewett, died peacefully at his home on Friday, March 25. He was born May 18, 1939 in Bloomingdale, Ohio, the youngest son of the twelve children of the late Marion and Sallie Vaughn Delloma.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arvella Hoobler Maffitt Delloma in 2008; a son-in-law, Jim Barcus; and four brothers and five sisters. Ray graduated from Wayne High School in Bloomingdale in 1957. He was a retired employee of Consolidation Coal Co. and Hanna Coal Co. and was a member of UMWA Local 1506.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a former Green Twp. Trustee. Ray also raised and raced field trial dogs for over thirty years. Surviving are four daughters, Suzanne Rubiano of Monroeville, Pa., Patricia (Frank) Sabo of Hopedale, Lou Ann (Butch) Dyer of Jewett and Denise (Allen) Luther of Pickerington; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Donna Grubb of Cadiz and Irene Vasbinder of Barnesville; and many other family members and dear friends.

Friends may call Monday, 3-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rodney Bowers officiating.
