Clara (Thompson) Howes, 92, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Monday May 2, at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
She was born in Adena, Ohio, on May 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Clarence “Butch” and Velma Waldren Thompson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Richard, a son Thomas and brothers: Harvey, Osburn, Pete, Leonard and Carl Thompson.
She was a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church and the Flushing Eastern Star.
Clara is survived by son: James “Jim” (Bonnie) Howes of Martins Ferry, a sister Dorothy Dowdell of Jewett, grandchildren: Thomas, Toni, Tara, Jimmy; great grandchildren: Courtney and Taylore, and great-great grandchildren Skylar and Reed.
Friends will be received Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Thursday May 5, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chuck Mehl and Rev.
