Marsha A. Henderson, age 74, passed away Monday, May 2, at Community Hospice House, New Philadelphia.
Born August 29, 1941 on the family farm in Stock Twp., Harrison Co. she was a daughter of the late Stuart and Katherine Sherlock Henderson. She graduated from Scio High School in 1961.
Marsha was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church near Tappan Lake and the Scio Democratic Women. She was a volunteer at Twin City Hospital, Dennison and a member of the former Crabapples Auxiliary. She was a talented embroiderer who enjoyed watching daytime dramas.
Surviving are her brother Stuart Henderson, Jr. of Scio, her sister with whom she resided, Barbara (Jerry) Besozzi of Scio; nieces Vickey (Dave) Chrisman of Scio and Peggy (Dan) Freund of Colerain; nephews Mike (fiancée Shellie Waggoner) Henderson and Doug (Kari) Henderson both of Scio; grand-nieces Kayla, Katie Megan, Jackie, Gracie and Sarah; grand-nephews Douglas II, Marcus, Brett and Dillan and several great grand-nieces and great grand-nephews.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bill Henderson and sister-in-law Jean Henderson.
Services will be held Friday at 5 p.m. in Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church with Pastors Mike Cunningham and Bob King officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
