Kenneth E. Bickerstaff, 93 of Cadiz died Friday, June 3, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 1, 1923 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Jess and Esther Merritt Bickerstaff.

Kenneth was a member of the Word of Life Fellowship in Steubenville, a veteran of World War II having served in Italy and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife of 65 years Yvonne Justine “Mitzi” Bickerstaff; a brother, James Orwick and two sisters: Delores Bickerstaff and Esther Turndick.

He is survived by his children: John (Phyllis) Bickerstaff of Hopedale, Beverly (Keith) Forsythe of Hopedale, Linda (John) Randolph of Jewett, Elizabeth (John) DeMarco of Toledo and Rebecca (John) Myers of Mt. Pleasant, Pa; grandchildren: Deborah (Ty) Geanangel , Michael Bickerstaff, Rachel Randolph, Daniel Forsythe, Esther (Rob Reinhart) Randolph, Katie Forsythe, Leah (Dave) Russell and Amy Myers; great grandchildren: Paige and Wade Geanangel, Aidan and Noah Bickerstaff, Kolton Reinhart and a great grandchild on the way in August and Cheyenne Russell; and a sister, Clara Frey of Wintersville, Ohio.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9 from 4-7 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Word of Life Fellowship, 565 Lovers Lane, Steubenville with Pastor Dave Shores officiating and Daniel Forsythe doing the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, Ohio. Military honors will be conducted by the Cadiz American Legion.
