Evelyn M. Welsh, 83, of Jewett, Ohio, died Nov. 3, 2021 in Country Club Manor in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born, Sept. 14, 1938 in Jewett, Ohio, daughter of the late Elbert and Beatrice Eaton Manbeck. She was also preceded in death by her husband William M. Welsh in 1993. Evelyn graduated from Jewett High School (Class of 1956), belonged to the Jewett United Methodist Church, had been a beautician, and later the district manager of Avon products for 15 years.
Surviving is children Daniel (Melanie) Welsh of Bloomingdale, William (Jodi) Welsh of Toronto, Sonya Welsh of Jewett and five grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, Nov. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Blackburn Funeral Home (324 High St. Hopedale, Ohio 43976). Funeral services will be held there on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Greco will officiate, and burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
