Jeffrey Allen Mickey, age 68 of Orient, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. He was born Aug. 30, 1953 in Steubenville and grew up in rural Hopedale, Ohio. Jeff was a 1971 graduate of Jewett High School. He then attended West Liberty College in West Virginia and graduated from Franklin University with a degree in finance. Jeff worked for various banks and retired from Huntington National Bank. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill B. and Mary L. (Patterson) Mickey.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Janis F. (Moore) Mickey, whom he married on Dec. 28, 2002; children, Amber Laine (Craig) Cramer, Anna Lee (Miles) Keenan, Adam Baxter (Natalie) Mickey, Aaron Paul (Diane) Mickey; stepchildren, Stephanie S. Townsend, Jason G. Townsend; grandchildren, Adora Luv Keenan, Aiden Keenan, Corinne Mickey, Taylor Mickey, Zachary J. Isoma, Nicholas R. Isoma, Cassandra F. Isoma, Amber E. Isoma; great-grandchildren, Estrella F. Lopez Isoma, Tanner C. Isoma, Luna A. Lopez Isoma; siblings, Sandra Kaye Shelton and Calvin Eugene Mickey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4–6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 at Ferguson Funeral Home (202 E.
