Preston Scott Skinner, 31, of Hopedale, Ohio was involved in a pedestrian accident on Oct. 26, 2021 outside of Nashville, Tennessee. He was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital and remained in the critical care unit until he passed away on Oct. 31, 2021. Preston was an avid reader and loved writing novels and poetry. He also loved to travel, and his favorite place to go was the library. Preston is preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Anne Skinner of Hopedale, Ohio. Preston is survived by his father, Scott Skinner, 64, of Jewett, Ohio and his sister Brittany Skinner, 34, of Jewett, Ohio. Services will be held at the First Church of Christ in Cadiz, Ohio on Oct. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
