Delpha Ellen Phelps, 66, of Tippecanoe, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Summa Health Akron City Hospital. Born October 31, 1955 in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Paul and Dorothy (Cooney) Beebe.
Delpha was a graduate of Timken High School and Stark State in college before running her own trucking business for many years. She was a member of Brownsville Christian Church. Above all else, Delpha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life revolved around her family. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time in nature, camping, and fishing.
On July 12, 2001, Delpha married Robert Jack Phelps, who survives her at their home. She is also survived by her children, Danielle (Eric) Studnik, Paul (Kristi) Hilton, and Samantha Hilton; grandchildren, Ariell Elliott, Cianna Elliott, Kristopher Kay, Brooke Studnik, Taylor Studnik, Morgan Studnik, Zack Hilton, Cory Hilton, Haylea Hilton, Wyatt Hilton, and Travis Herman; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Scott (Sandy) Beebe, Ron (Margie) Beebe, and Paul Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
According to Delpha’s wishes, cremation is planned. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Brownsville Christian Church, west of Deersville, from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brownsville Christian Church.
