Bernard “Bernie” Matusik, 77, of Adena, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. He was born February 15, 1945, a son of the late John and Frances Kroflich Matusik. Bernie was a retired employee of CONSOL.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Walter Matusik; stepbrother Eugene Hilligas and stepmother Wilma Hilligas Matusik.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bonnie Goff Matusik, daughter Paulette (Robert) Ledfors, son Paul (Kristy) Matusik; two grandchildren: Katie (Adam) Roberts, Zackary Matusik; great-grand-sons: Uriah and Matthais Roberts; brothers: Bob, Roger, Tommy, and Dan Matusik; stepbrother Jim Hilligas and Lena Greenwood.
