The 14th annual Carroll County Antique Power Show is scheduled Oct. 14-16 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds in Carrollton.
Visitors can see antique equipment demonstrations, tractor pulls, a car show and numerous vendors. Admission and parking are free.
Daily demonstrations include: threshing, baling and corn husking, along with making homemade bean soup. There will be equipment and tractor displays.
The featured tractor is Massey Ferguson. Tickets for the Massey Ferguson raffle tractor or $2,500 can be purchased during the event. Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5. Drawing will be held Oct. 16 at approximately 3 p.m. The raffle tractor is a 1964 Massey Ferguson 50. Other prizes are: a pedal tractor, toy tractor, handmade wood barn and handmade bird house.

Friday’s transfer pull registration begins at 4 p.m. Pulling begins at 5 p.m. Classes sponsored by Country Side Equipment include: 3,500 lbs., 4,500 lbs. and 5,500 lbs., all under 60HP; 5,500 lb. Youth 15 and Under, 4 mph; 6,500 lb. Open Antique, 7,500 lb. Farm Stock and 8,500 lb. Non-turbo Stock.
Saturday’s dead weight pull registration begins at 9 a.m. with pulling at 10 a.m. Classes sponsored by DL Barns include: 4,500 lb., 5,500 lbs., 7,000 lbs., 8,500 lbs. and 10,500 lbs. A 7,000 lb. Registration for the car show Sunday begins at 9 a.m. Show is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Spikeman spinning tunes. The first 100 entries receive a dash plaque. The Augusta Ranchers 4-H Club will operate the kitchen from 11 a.m. to close Friday, and 8 a.m. to close Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will feature a baked steak dinner from 4-7 p.m. Dinner includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, vegetable, roll, dessert and drink. Cost is $8.50 per person.
