Blaine Allen Lucas, 70, of Carrollton passed away at his residence Monday, July 25, 2016.
Born Oct. 18, 1945, in Perrysville, he was a son of James Maxwell and Velma Mae (Wallace) Lucas.
He married Edna Amanda (Berry) June 20, 1964. They were married for 52 years. He attended the Methodist Church and retired from the Carroll County Courthouse as the custodian. Blaine did construction work for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and worked at the bait shop in Dellroy.
Beside his loving wife Edna, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Allen Lucas and Ronald Lynn (Darla) Lucas both of Carrollton; daughter, Kristina Foster and her companion Stephen Sell of Akron; a brother, Robert Lucas of Carrollton; two sisters, Dena (Ralph) Lucas of Carrollton and Marcia (Robert) Boley of Navarre; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and an expected great grandchild. His loving extended family, the Berrys.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Allen Lucas; a great grandchild; and his in-laws, the Berrys
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 28, at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Perrysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home.
