The annual Festival of Trees and Candlelight Tour is planned at the McCook House Civil War Museum in Carrollton.
A total of 17 decorated trees will be located throughout the museum with the historic display. Trees are decorated by 4-H clubs, individuals, and Carrollton, Suburban and Mohawk garden clubs. The Carroll County Bee Club and OSU Extension Carroll County have decorated trees for viewing this year.
Visitors can experience an 1830s holiday season during the Candlelight Tour Nov. 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The display is open Nov. 27-29 and Dec. 4-6. The McCook House is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Manager Shirley Anderson noted it takes everyone pulling together to present the annual holiday event.
Cost is by donation. The McCook House Civil War Museum is located at the top of Public Square in Carrollton.
