Accent Church hosts Cookie Walk; Charlie Brown Christmas Play By Free Press Standard - December 2, 2015 0 20 Facebook Twitter Google+ Pinterest WhatsApp The annual Cookie Walk begins at 9 a.m. Dec. 5 in Carrollton Church of God located at 371 Moody Ave., Carrollton. Last year over 900 dozen cookies were sold, along with candies and quick breads. This year bakers have been working diligently to offer a variety of baked goods, cookies and candies for the holiday season. Cost is $7 for a small box; $13, medium; and $25 for large. The church’s annual Children’s Charlie Brown Christmas Play will be held Dec. 12 and 13 at 6 p.m. The public is invited to a “night they won’t forget” according to Beth Kaufholz, who is in charge of the production. Children ages 4-11 have been practicing since the first of October, perfecting their parts. Shown above are members of the Church of God with a sampling of items for purchase during the Cookie Walk.
