Days, Casto crowned CHS prom royalty


Eliza Days and Cody Casto were crowned queen and king of Carrollton High School’s 2016 junior-senior prom held Saturday evening in the high school gym. Theme of the dress up affair was A Night Around the World.

Eliza Days (left) was crownd Carrollton High School prom queen and Cody Casto was crowned prom king during festivities April 30.

Honored as the prom prince and princess were Jacob Knipp, a junior who crowned the prom queen, and Mia Moore, a junior who crowned the prom king.

Other members of the court were Maddie Birong, Kaitlyn Budinsky, Ali Poole, Madison Yockey, Anna Truman, Brock Albaugh, Drake Anderson, Max Feller and Evan Green and Aaron Miller.

Daughter of Rodney and Connie Days, Queen Eliza is a member of the Student Council, FFA chapter, yearbook staff, bowling team, Chamber Choir and serves as senior class treasurer at CHS.

She also is active in 4-H and member of her church youth group and the Carroll County Junior Fair Board. Upon graduation, Eliza plans to attend the University of Mount Union and major in communications.

Casto, son of Tracy Edie and grandson of Dallas Plessinger, is a member of the band, cross country team and Spanish Club. He is also a member of Minerva First Christian Church and plans to attend college and major in construction management.
