Evelyn E. Kinsey, 87, of Augusta, died Thursday, May 19, 2016, in Carroll Golden Age Retreat.
She was owner and operator of the Paradise Inn in Cleveland for 60 years, owned the Oasis in Malvern and worked at American Switch in Minerva. She was a member of Augusta Presbyterian Church and a 70-year member of Carroll Chapter #315 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a dog lover and an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
She will be dearly missed by her 31 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, Mary Turnipseed, Christine Ossler, Emma Rhodes, Dorothy Locke, Pauline Brown, and George, Lafe, Bill and Thomas Kinsey.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 23 at 11 a.m. in Augusta Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ryan Hale officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
