Lady Warriors win one, lose one in NBC

The Carrollton Lady Warriors hosted Northeastern Buckeye Conference (NBC) foe Louisville during their last regular season match of the year Oct. 15.

The Warriors fell to the Leopards in three sets: 25-13, 25-10 and 25-17.

Ali Poole led the way for the Warriors with four points and one ace. Other Lady Warriors leading in the match were: Mikayla Poole with nine assists; Kady Davis recorded 13 digs; Roz Pridemore supplied seven kills; and Jaci Pridemore recorded two solo blocks for the Lady Warriors.

The Lady Warriors volleyball team hosted the Minerva Lions Oct. 13.

The Lady Warriors defeated the Lions in three sets: 25-15, 25-21 and 25-13.

Freshman Sadie Green served for 12 points and two aces enroute to the three set win. MiKayla Poole recorded 16 assists, Ali Poole dug out 15 balls, and Roz Pridemore led with 13 kills, fouor solo blocks and three assists.

Lady Lions leading for Minerva were: Kelseigh Holderbaum, 15 assists; Bri Gassman, 13 digs, 12 kills and one solo block; and McKenna Patterson recorded one solo block.

The number 15 seeded Lady Warriors traveled to Riverview Oct. 19 to take on the number 9 seeded Lady Bears in sectional play.
