The Board of Elections of Carroll County, Ohio issues this Proclamation and Notice of Election.
A PRIMARY ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON
Tuesday, the 15th day of March, 2016 at the usual places of holding elections in each and every precinct in the County or at such places as the Board may designate, to choose delegates and alternates to National Convention.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m., and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.

NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL
LIMITATION
Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the township trustees of the Township of Union, of Carrollton, Ohio passed on the 19th day of October, 2015, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 15th day of March, 2016, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Township of Union, for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads.
Tax being an additional tax of 2.45 mills at a rate not exceeding 2.45 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.245 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.

Tax being a renewal of an existing tax of 1 mill at a rate not exceeding 1 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
