To the Editor:

In 1996, the mean temperature of our precious earth was 58.7 degrees. Due to man’s destructive influences, the earth’s average temperatures, in 2016, the mean temperature was a terrifying 58.7 degrees.

Before the left gets all up in arms, let’s look at the most recent findings from the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI).

Because we should go by what science says, right? That’s what Al Gore tells us to do.

The United Kingdom newspaper, The Telegraph, recently reported DMI’s findings:

Ever since December temperatures in the Arctic have consistently been lower than minus 20 degrees C. In April, the extent of Arctic ice was back to where it was in April 13 years ago. Furthermore, whereas in 2008, most of the ice was extremely thin, this year most has been at least two metres thick. The Greenland ice cap last winter increased in volume faster than at any time for years.

As for those record temperatures brought in 2016 by an exceptionally strong El Nino, the satellites now show that in recent months global temperatures have plummeted by more than 0.6 degrees; just as happened 17 years ago after a similarly strong El Nino had also made 1998 the “hottest year on record.” This means the global temperature trend has now shown no further warming for 19 years.

John Casey is a former White House space program advisor, consultant to NASA and space shuttle engineer. He is now one of America’s most successful climate change researchers and climate prediction experts. In short, John is the very definition of a government insider. He spent 35 years conducting classified research, examining confidential documents and directing critical scientific programs. John found evidence buried right in the government’s own environmental files that destroys their argument for “global warming.”

It’s a sham our government spends $22 billion a year financing. Think about that: our government spends $22 billion a year financing “global warming” initiatives.

Then there is the Paris Climate Plan: spend $100 trillion to maybe cool the earth .03 degrees in 100 years. All you have to do is follow the money. It’s a scam and too many have taken the bait.

To the Editor:

On Monday, May 8, I was in the checkout at Dollar General Market and had a lot to unload. There was a young man behind me and he only had one item, so I told him to go ahead of me. He said “thanks, I’m on my lunch hour.”

He checked out and hollered again “thanks.” The clerk rang up my order and she said it comes to $63, but you only owe $53 because that man gave me $10 towards your groceries. I was shocked to say the least!

What he did was above and beyond what I did, but the clerk said he really appreciated it. Since I don’t know who he was, I’m hoping he reads this because I want to thank him! I’m asking God to do something nice for you too! Yes, there are nice people in this world and here in Carrollton too!
