CARROLLTON – Rex Energy Senior Landman Rick Shackelford recently presented checks for $7,500 to Carroll County Loaves and Fishes and Carroll County Caring Hands (CCCH) on behalf of the Pennsylvania-based company.

“Rex Energy is proud to be a part of the communities where we operate,” said Shackelford. “We show our commitment to Carroll County by supporting programs in the county. Organizations like Loaves and Fishes and Carroll County Caring Hands (who also received a donation) focus on the change in the world they want to create – keeping hunger at bay and lending a helping hand with medical expenses – and then change the world for the better. It is an honor to support Loaves and Fishes and Carroll County Caring Hands in their good works.”

Melanie Campbell, president of CCCH accepted the check, saying “We are very grateful for the donation from Rex Energy. It will help us with our mission of helping Carroll County residents.”
