Nova Sutton Miller, 94, of Irondale, passed away Dec. 5, 2015, in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
Born Sept. 11, 1921, in Rumley Twp, she was a daughter of the late Robert R. and Florence (Gotshall) McClure.
She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Irondale, where she held many offices.
Nova was co-owner and operator of Wal-No Farms, Irondale.
She was past president of Richmond Country Side Garden Club, Farm Bureau of Jefferson County Women’s Committee, Jefferson County Soil Conservation, Country Cousins Farm Bureau Council, and Farm Bureau Federation. Nova was a trustee of Carroll Electric Company.
Nova is survived by her sons, James (Lorrie) Sutton of Bergholz, Harold (Susan) Sutton of Irondale, and Douglas Sutton of Salem; daughters, Cheryl (Darl) Cline of Amsterdam and Deborah (Frank) Marshall of Redman, WA; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Sutton and her second husband, Orville B. Miller; brothers, Roy, Donald, and Ronald McClure; and sisters, Virginia Hugus, Neva Long, and Pauline Boals.
Her family shares their deep appreciation to the caregivers for their love and care given to Nova.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. in Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville. Friends and family will be received Dec. 8 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
