MINERVA – Registration for the Minerva Homecoming Parade, scheduled for June 14, is underway.
The 94th Minerva Homecoming will take place June 14-17 in Brock Park in Minerva. The parade begins promptly at 6 p.m. The theme is “Proud to be an American.”
Entries will be accepted until 5:15 p.m. parade day. Pre-registration can be done through June 13. Forms can be completed at Designs by Terry located at 202 E. Lincolnway, Minerva, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
Registration will also be held at the Minerva Fire Station June 14 from 3-5:15 p.m. Entries after 5:15 p.m. will line up at the end of the parade and will not be announced or judged. Registration fee is $5 for participants, except non-profit organizations.
Denise Freeland, Minerva’s 2017 Person of the Year, will serve as grand marshal. The parade will travel south on Bonnieview, west on Line St., north on Market St., east on Lincolnway ending at Minerva High School.
