Seven Carrollton High School speech team students have qualified for state competition.

The team members competed for a spot at the Ohio High School Speech and Debate Association’s state finals Feb. 3 at the Canton district tournament.

The team will travel to Sylvania High School March 1 for state finals and to Perry High School Feb. 16 for National qualification.

The team is coached by Alzana and Ron Nuzzolillo and Brad Eick.
