Vi Cunningham of Minerva passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bowerston to the late John and Blanche (Ritchie) Nign. She retired from TRW in Minerva after 30 years of service.
Vi is survived by her husband, Warren Ray Cunningham; two sons, Jerry (Susan) Hawk of Malvern and William (Susan) Hawk Jr. of Alliance; three daughters, Judy (James) Gram and Sheri (Rick) Armes, both of Minerva, and Karen Pinion of Canton; brother, Ed (Vickie) Nign of Carrollton; sister, June Curtis of Uhrichsville; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Nign and Agnes Guy; and four brothers, Charles, Francis, Pete and Clyde Nign. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and her vacation home in Florida. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in her honor Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Scott Williams officiating.
